About Tenille Bain
Hello, my name is Tenille Bain, and I am a 7x Certified Eyelash Extension Artist, Certified Body Contour Specialist, as well as a Cosmetic Teeth Whitening Technician. I'm also the owner of True Cosmetic Academy, where I teach aspiring beauty professionals everything I know!
Throughout the years I have made it my goal to help others feel beautiful and confident in their own skin and I love nothing more than seeing my clients or students light up with happiness after their services or a successful training with me.
I'm fortunate enough to have a career where I get to help people feel their best, whether it's giving someone a brand new set of long and lush lashes, contouring and highlighting their features to perfection, or teaching them how to do all of the above: I know I am making a difference in their lives and that is something I am thankful for.
There are many reasons as to why I chose a career in the beauty industry. The main reason was that I wanted more time to spend with my family and I knew that being my own boss would allow me to do that. As a single parent, I needed more flexibility in my work hours and wanted to be able to spend more time doing things I enjoyed with the people I loved.
This is also why I started True Cosmetic Academy so that I can give this opportunity to other people looking to have a more rewarding and flexible career because I know how precious time is. Over the years, I discovered that educating others was my true talent, which aligned with my core beliefs that everyone deserves to be beautiful. As a result of this, I slowly transitioned out of providing services to only offering lash extension classes as well as body contouring and teeth whitening training with my academy.
Although I loved every service I provided, I found that my true passion was really in teaching and helping others grow in their own businesses. Now I teach my students how to use these talents so that they may discover financial freedom, create their own schedules and experience the same emotions that I experienced when I was able to make someone feel beautiful.
My career has allowed me the freedom of traveling to explore different cities while working. Starting in my hometown of Mississiauga, Ontario, I’ve had the opportunity to run several successful salons in Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton and Hamilton. Now that I’ve transitioned into a full time educator I am focused out of Montreal, Quebec and have been traveling across both provinces for the last 5 years educating.
I was able to earn a paycheck from a career I loved and that's why I want to show you how to do the same.
